afaIk the song totally SHOULD update in GD given GD pulls from the NG servers, it's just that if you downloaded the previous version the game won't notice the update by itself
if you want to get the updated version, go (in GD) to Settings > Options > Last page > Songs > Click the X button on the song

(but I haven't tested this, anyone lmk if I'm full of bullshit :DDD)
